Another fireball?

Been out (attempting) imaging around Ursae majoris tonight and as I looked away from the camera after a quick exposure I noticed a very bright meteor at least I think it was as it flashed out very quickly and I only just caught it in my peripheral view.

The time was approx 21.50 this evening and it appeared almost exactly equidistant from Pherkad (γ Ursae minoris) and Eldasich (ι Draconis)

Did anyone else see it or can confirm what I saw? Was a cracking one if was a meteor.

I had a quick look at the Herts allsky camera for last night, there's some kind of glare on this frame:

just above Ursa Major (if you blink between the previous image).

Obviously hard to say, but I wonder if this is the fireball you saw. The time and direction match.

Time seems about the right, it flashed out pretty quick but enough to take my attention. Many thanks for reply

I saw a very bright meteor over Dudley last night. I think it was around the same time, but I didn't make a note of it.

Yes, saw it .... very bright indeed but lasted only about 1 second. Thought it might have been a piece of Phobos Grunt but I see that went down earlier over the Pacific.

Thanks for the confirmation, yes it appeared very bright but as you say was very quick to burn out 1s maybe 2s tops
