Must say they do go pretty cheap and I got one the other week a 15mm for 12.00 quid. It looks fine enough to me but would welcome any second opinions.

Just got one of my Meade Series out and it looks exactly like that (barrel, writing colour etc). So would guess it WAS genuine

I have bought Meade stuff before from the guy selling this , the quality was fine , cheap and delivered quickly. He is always selling astronomical equipment I hope this helps

I bought a set of 4 4000's off of him and I'm not sure if they're kosher or not. One of them's got the MUTL-COATED thing on it which says to me that they're fakes. Saying that, I compared the 40mm to the Knight Owl 40mm I already owned and the 'Meade' is slightly better! Maybe fakes, but I don't think they're not too bad as cheap EP's go.
