What position for the dew sheild??????

I have an Astrozap dew sheild for my scope, but don't know what position to site it on the scope (forwards or backwards). Does it just need to fit comfortably over the main lens? I have not been able to find anything on the Astrozap website or any other for that matter. It didn't come with any details about positioning. Don't know if anyone has a photo of the optimum position?

It projects from the front end of the scope, shielding the corrector lens from dewing.
