Planning a session

Recommended Posts

Well they have given out a clear but cold night on Thursday, i'm thinking of trying to image the Leo triplet with my Vixen 102s

I will be useing a 0.8x reducer and a canon 350d.

what would be a good starting point for exposure times?

Having tried last week; i managed 15x 200sec but i was disapointed with the outcome!

Is the Leo triplet a practical target for my set up?

Ray
