My new Orion Highlight Plossls

Ok, I managed to test out my new orion highlights tonight before the damn cloud returned.

I must say that these are a vast improvement over the stock celestron kellners that came with my scope. Images of M42 were a lot sharper with more detail and purple fringing on jupiter was vastly reduced. Tried all of them 32,17, 12.5 and 6.3 but struggled with the 6.3 due to poor seeing.

I paid £80 for them used and they are in mint condition. I believe they would be around £200 new for all four so im well happy. Now all I need is a nice little case to protect them.

Better put them away now as they are supposed to be a birthday present.

Hi Kuro... at $200 - £220 new plus the shipping from usa...£ 80 is a bargain...& a good step-up from the supplied ones

Also picked up one of the small aluminium flight cases from maplins today, not on offer but still a good price at £25.
