The Double Cluster and Pleiades

First night out since mid December, and scope has had its first collimation since I got it back in March.

Great job, I like the star colours. You should be able to get more out of that M45, though...

Thanks Lewis, processing isn't my strong point so that was the best I could get from M45. Not too bad for only 18 minutes worth of 2 min subs, once the moon has disappeared I have another go at it with more and longer subs.

Try making a flat field and dividing the image by it..

I had a play at what that might achieve...

(there's lots wrong with my quicky play, but it does show the nebulosity which is what I wanted you to see.. worth pursuing)
