New 'scope & got questions ?

A 'Night Sky Tour' public open evening has been arranged for 21st Jan. at Albury Heath Cricket Ground in Surrey... there will be a mini telescope clinic for people who have got new scopes but not sure how to use them - live webcam hookups with USA, Ireland, Devizes and the Halley Observatory in Holland on a 20ft. screen - plus loads of different 'scopes & eyepieces to look through. Lots going on, and some freebies for the kiddies on the night including Hubble space telescope dvd's.

Sounds like a good night to be had, shame i don't live nearer. There does not seem to be much going on in this part of the country
