I thought I'd have a go at imaging the Sun with Baadar Solar Film.

Do you have any more info about how you took it, camera, telescope etc?

Have you tried using an UV/IR cut filter? as this can make images sharper and give more detail.

I think you are a bit out of focus with this one and very over exposed - there are several spots that should be visible - do you have details of the ISO and exposure that you used? The 127 should be capable of giving exellent images with the Baader filter.

I made the filter using the baader filter film, I purchased from FLO.

Unfortunately, It's difficult to get a better focus with my limited scope.

The added problem with using the cannon cameras live view to focus doesn't help either.

In the past, I spent more time taking the photo and processing.

Using a four inch (100mm) scope at f/10 I often use 1/500-1/1000 sec at ISO100. If you use the zoom with live view you should be able to see to get good focus. Hope this helps.
