Baader MPCC Query

Hi Guys

I am a little confused after reading conflicting text as to whether to remove the M48 stop-ring on the MPCC when attaching to the Canon T ring for imaging.

Does anyone who uses them for imaging with a DSLR know which method is correct ?

I think it is there to cater for slight differences in setups.

Quick sub both with and without should show you which is better?

FWIW I think you are supposed to remove it for a DSLR as the distance is measured to the flange, not the spacer.
