Manfrotto 475 B

Has anyone used one of these tripods.If so would it support a startravel 120?Also what tripod head should I fit it with.It looks like a beefier version of my horizon 8115 which is what I am looking for.Any info would be appreciated.Cheers.

I was advised to try on of these when I had a set of big binoculars, I found it a well made robust quality tripod when matched with a suitable head such as Manfrotto 501HDV Video Head they handled the bins extremely well

I've got one of the 475 tripods which I use with a Manfrotto 405 geared head. It's so much sturdier than a Horizon tripod. Every part on the 475 is about twice the size of the parts on the Horizon.

Makes a great portable setup. I've used it with a C8 SCT and a 100mm APO as well as some large 110mm bins. Shouldn't have any trouble with a Startravel 120.
