WOW! Very cool Cloudwatcher! How did you do it? I've no idea where to start with processing, Ants tips have helped a lot but I've got tons to learn!

A great start Grant. It sounds as if you are fully enthused with the imaging thing and with your being a "doer" that promises great things. Have had a go at your ring and M81/81 but as has been said you need to stack more images which will help to pull the images out from the murky glow. Things will sharpen up a lot when you have the alignment sorted as well.
