tommyatkins Posted December 31, 2011 Share Posted December 31, 2011 Good day everyone.As a result of downloading an app on my iphone (starwalk?) I've developed a fascination for the heavens. I used to be in the Merchant Navy and I remember nights out at sea looking at the sky and just blown away by the number of stars. I was given the names of some of them and they stuck in my memory.So....... with everyone's indulgence, I'll be asking the most basic of questions. Please bear with me - I know nothing - I just want to learn. I have a small telescope, a Saxon which I got for christmas and it's still getting used to me.
