Thinking of buying a TAL-1M or TAL-150PM

The motorised mounts aren't imported any more. Great, great shame.

Would cost a fortune to import due to the weight.

At the moment there is a Tal 2M and a Tal 1M on ebay. The former is quite simply a superb piece of kit.

The 2M has a better and heavier mount. The 1M's is still very good, but nothing touches the 2M's.

Oops. Slight mistake.

The ebay 1M, Item number: 160698616097, is actually a 120M. Same mount, but differnt scope on top.

The Tal 1 on ebay, Item number: 160698610276, is a 2M !!!

I have a Tal1 which I bought off a local market for £50. It has 2 ep's plus a set of coloured filters. The mount is super smooth and the whole thing was built for t34 tank. I leave the mount outside, covered of course. It takes 5 minutes to setup. Its so easy to use, forget tripods there a menace. Images are crisp, if you can get one dont wait buy it!!!
