EQ5 goto v CG-5GT goto

Hi I'm thinking of upgrading my mount to a goto and not sure which way to go I have a eq5 that I believe you can add the SynScan Pro goto kit to for £290 from FLO I'v also been looking at the Celestron CG-5 goto £525 does anybody use the CG-5 if so is it any better then the eq5 and worth the extra expense

Not considering going down the second hand route? For £525 you can easily get a HEQ5 pro synscan second hand which would be much better than the EQ5 or CG5.

I'm in the same boat.. Not sure what to go for. Have a look at moon monkeys m31 pictures. They are with an eq5 goto. Think I'm going to go for the upgrade then later down the line look into getting an eq6 once I've got some imaging experience
