Correctly Inverted Lunar Atlas

I meant to mention this a while back but I forgot.

Further to my little rant here <click> the author of the Lunar Atlas got back to me to tell me that he'd now produced a version in the correct orientation for Newtonian scopes.

Yes he was very nice about the whole thing, and pointed out that he'd been misled by other information on the internet such as this here <click> which is (at the time of writing this post) still incorrect for Newtonian scopes despite me contacting the website about it.

Astronomylogs site seems to be down. Any idea why?

Interesting - you will still have to flip the atlas when you flip the scope across the meridian if you are using a German Eq Mount!

I was thinking about imaging where the camera flips when you do a meridain flip. Your right you don't get this visually unless you stand on your head! - Andrew
