ASCOM Website

Does anyone know why the ASCOM website is down? I've been trying to access it for the last three days without success. Are there perhaps, any other sites where I could find the drivers for a CGEM mount?

Yes, I can move wherever, I got to the Downloads OK, which is where I think you need to be. Everything is fine.

Is your Protection software interfering perhaps..

Turn off your Firewall and see if that allows you to go there.

Unlikely it will be that, but try anyway.

It's just plain nuts! I spent most of yesterday and today trying the Ascom site and getting the Internet Explorer cant display the webpage message but I've just tried on my wife's PC and it worked!

Then I came back to this machine ... and lo and behold ..... I'm in to the site.

What' going on ....? Anyway, I got the scope out this evening to see the Ganymede transit at 8-30pm tonight. Guess what ... it was lovely and clear until a few minutes ago ... and now it's raining. Time for a drink I think.

All's well then, except the rapid weather change. Makes one pretty mad at times, especially when you're all keyed up for a session.

It's probably to do with it being 'Mega Week' for Internet Xmas shopping.

The Next site was inaccessible last night - same Internet cannot display the web page message. All those people doing their present shopping make the net grind to a halt.

Not that Next ever have anything in stock...!
