Canon 1100d prime focus

Has anyone got experience of using a canon 1100 with a skywatcher newtonian or similar and had any problems with prime focus? I'm thinking of buying one and want to be sure it will focus ok!

Best to name the scope you intend to use it on as it is critical for infocus.

You should not have a problem, I never had a problem with a 450D.

someone help out here, is the PDS the shorten version to allow DSLR's to focus. I believe it is and if so, as said you should be fine.

You can get focus on both the P & the PDS, but you get a bit more spare focus travel on the slightly shorter PDS tubes.

What you will probably want is a coma corrector to flatten the edges of the field that are slightly curved on newts. That will screw onto your T mount which attaches to the camera body. You then get round stars at the edges of the field of view.
