Prism diagonal.

Hi all,

Ruffling through my 'spares' box yesterday and I found a Celestron prism diagonal which I have never used. Just wondering if any of you optics wizards out there can tell me if there are any observing situations where it might be better than my dialectric mirror diagonal.?

I've not tried this personally but I've read reports that a prism diagonal can help improve the colour correction with certain ED scopes:

That's very interesting. I've only got achros but I might do a comparo next time I get out. Thanks for that.
