Strange!

Can anyone tell me why I have Christmas trees for stars? It only happened after the "flip" and only on this one target (Orion) it shows in 5 min and 1min subs. I later moved on to the Horse Head and it didnt show on those subs!

Scope was the ED80, CCD - QHY9c

Is it that something was in the way? Say a tree/wall or something and this was causing a diffration spike?

Ahh! that could be it...I was imaging with 2 scopes and the other one didn't show the same, but, I bet the lower one was just clipping the obs wall....DOHH!
