M31 second try

Had another go sunday night.

It didnt turn out as good as I was hoping... think the focus is out slightly (

I did try to add some darks, but i used Jpeg instead of raw so they didnt work !!!

Will remember to set my camera to raw next time.

One thing I was happy with was the mount.. it tracked andromida for 3 hrs and it never moved one bit in all taet time.

So you used the eq5 goto for this? I have the eq5 and am looking at the upgrade to goto but wasn't sure if it could guide accurate enough. What resolution is the eq5 pro goto? The upgrade I'm looking has a resolution of 0.288 arc second. Is yours the same as that or better. Would be a massive help if you could let me know. Could save me a few hundred quid was going to get the eq6 but no need if yours is 0.288 as you have proved
