1st DSO M13...not the best

Ok ok it's not good looking, BUT this is my 1st DSO. Plus, it's only a SINGLE 30 sec sub....my mount is naff at tracking lol, and trying to stack, it looks a blurry mess (I know theres alot more stars in M13 than I have managed to capture, but I am using an old CCD and naff mount haha, that's my excuse )

I tried....I can only get better Any advice thankfully recieved

Hi that is a very good 1st picture !! And if you are using unguided and well polar alignment eq3-2 (?) you will be ale to do 60sec subs easily , give it a try !

I tried 60sec subs, my mount couldn't do it. The motor makes a kind of clicking noise, it needs looking at, and whenever it clicked it jolts the scope just slightly, enough to ruin the shot. The stars aren't round dots, they look like dots with tails lol.
