losmandy on an heq5

hi all

i would like to fit a losmandy dovetail on my heq5 is the only way to do this involve buying one of those ridiculously over priced saddles from altair astro or adm ??

I'm not aware of any other saddle / puck replacements for the HEQ5 - there used to be an ambermile one but I don't think you can get them any more.

They aren't cheap, but they are well worth the money (ADM saddle upgrade and dual mount bar myself.)

I've just installed the adm saddle on a heq5. Much more sturdy than the factory one with both vixen and los bases. A well worth upgrade.
