Eye relief newbee question

I have seen various comments regarding eye relief, I am assuming it relates to how close the eye is to the EP.

yep. In a nut shell how close the eye has to be to the EP in order to resolve a full image

Generally the eye relief will reduce when you start to go to higher magnification. Typically important to think about if you wear glasses.

Yep,Cider country,Great view of Jupiter in these parts last night,I got an 8mm BST today and immediately noticed the difference between it and the 24mm i got with my scope, I wear glasses but i think i can see detail looking thro each of the eyepieces without glasses.
