am just starting out. have bought Skymax from FLO.

I read in another thread that i should get a better 90 degree diagonal than the skywatcher one supplied as that only allows 80 - 85% of light through.

i only have a budget of about £70. i have seen a 1.25" dialectric diagonal williams optics for £60 from acecameras:-

any thoughts on this and secondly when i put it in the basket to buy it says 2" diagonal - dont know if i would be ordering the right thing.

I bought one of those from Ace a few weeks ago - excellent quality diagonal. Why not phone them to be sure ? - I think the astro sales guy is called Mark.

<Edit> Gaz is right though, there's no rush, the Skywatcher one is quite useable and and extra eyepiece might be more beneficial as an early "upgrade".
