Jupiter 19/11/11

My first effort of Jupiter taken with a Canon 350D attached to a Pentax XW14mm eye piece attached to a Meade LX90 telescope! Picture details: film speed 400 ASA, aperture of f10 with a shutter time 0.5 seconds. Only real problem was trying to get Jupiter in good focus, using the view finder on the back of the camera is not the best way, but it was the best I had last night.

Any comments would be most grateful?

This is how the picture came out from the camera, no adjustments were made, as I am not good at adjustments at all like using Photoshop!

Not bad for an SLR, but I reckon you would do even better with a webcam or similar to capture a video sequence.

Gives you more frames to work with to compensate for the fluctuations in seeing.
