best placement of telrad

Hi all, just picked up a telrad and have a question as to the optimal placement of it on my Meade LX 90 8" For example is better to place it at the back or front (or middle) of the tube? Is it best to place it mid center on top (in front of eyepiece)or slightly to the opposite side of the view finder or possibly next to it? Your advice and experience is greatly appreciated. thank you.

You usually see these top center of the tube at the front end of the scope - but leave room for the dew shield and dew band to fit. Of course you can place it wherever you feel it's most comfortable in use

thanks, so there is no reason based on optics where it should be placed. Perhaps comfort is the best solution. Much appreciated.
