Hi,

Ok, ST80 connect my DSLR to it ... sounds easy enough.

I have no diagonal - so I am guessing some sort of extension tube is needed? Or do I have to have a diagonal?

I do have a T-ring, and a 2" T-adapter, so would it a case of a getting a 1.25" T-adapter, rather than downsizing (if that is even possible)?

There will be other questions as I step through the connection ...

The standard focuser on the ST80 is a 1.25". it may be as simple as finding a 1.25" to T thread nosepiece then using the T2 camera adaptor to mount the camera body.

You definately don't want to be using the diagonal.
