Given the interest in physics on here I thought these may be of interest to people who want a not-quite-laymans introduction:

Foundations of Modern Physics | Stanford Video Course

They're a great set of lectures for people with a reasonable mathematical background (say A-level/1st yr Undergrad) who want to learn about modern physics. You can also get them on iTunes through iTunesU - I have been listening to them on my phone while on the tube to work
