Eyepiece Adapter

What can i use to change a 1.25" Eyepiece to a 2" barrel? I cant find anything to do this job.

I feel like im missing something really obvious

If I understand your question right, I think you just need a 1.25" - 2" adapter. There seem to be a few for sale on this bargain page:

If I am reading this correctly.

What is the point of stepping a 1.25" up to a 2".

You will still only have a 1.25" appature on the scope.

If you want to use 2" ep's you are going to have to change the focuser.

New Scope = 2" Focuser

But light path still restricted to 1.25" and eyepiece mounting moved outwards which may prevent focusing.

I didn't realize they were standard. I just dont want it to turn up, assemble it then realize I can't view anything with my 1.25s. No doubt there would be a total power outage in my area that night and crystal clear skies

I've recently bought a new scope with a 2" focuser and it came with a 1.25" adapter, so yours will probably be the same.

Same as cosmo, my 2" diagonal also came with the 1.25" adapter.
