Hi all well i managed to locate M33 lastnight so thought i'd have a go at imaging it seeming as though stellarium said it was quite a bright object lol . What i did find out is that its very hard to capture any fine detail on short unguided subs like i'm using at the moment but still i'm quite happy to have something that resembles it :) . After M33 thought i'd fifnish the night with M45 which i think came out better than any other image i've captured before of this object . Equipment used was a Skywatcher 150pds and a Canon 1000d ( unmodded ) at prime focus mounted on a Cg-4 ( unguided ) , both images were 45second exposures with a stack of 170 for M33 and 56 for M45 . The learning curve is steep but very enjoyable and addictive ;) .

Regards Alan
