Thoughts on Sky-Watcher Pro 80ED APO.

Does any one own a Sky-Watcher Pro 80ED APO? Is this more than sufficient for astrophotography. If so I would love to hear your feedback.

Exellent scope for photography. Many members have and use them. With the reducer/flattener you get a seriously good "widefield" scope.

Here's one I took earlier: 3h 30min in 5min subs with an unmodified Canon 1000D

I don't have one but a great many visit my place and the results are extraordinary. In my view you need to spend a bomb to get much better than the ED80, though the reducer-flattener is needed for DSLR imaging. It also has a huge following in the digi-scoping world of wildlife photography where its colour correction is much admired.
