Moon filter

Hi,

Can anyone suggest a good quality 1.25" Moon filter for me to use with my binoviewers, I did buy one off a well know auction site and to be honest it is useless (the filter I mean).

Use a #29 Deep Red filter like this one here <click>

Not only does it help protect your eye from feeling like it's been punched, it also gives sharper views of the moon, since seeing is better in the red band.

The red filter tip is the best tip I ever got from a forum. You can view the moon on nights when it would otherwise be too wobbly, and on good nights you can magnify more.
