Just back from Cornwall near Padstow..

Lovely dark skies, Milky way very obvious. I could easily see M31...and after a lot of checking and averted vision I would see down to mag 5.5 easily and 6 just. e.g 16 Cygnus..

With the 7 x 50 bins which are normally limited to about 8 I managed 9 just. M81/M82 were both visible again just..

Also could see down to horizon so I enjoyed the sight of Formalhault!:icon_salut:
