Losmandy G11 Standard legs vs HD Folding

There is a huge price difference (c£500) between the standard G11 legs and the folding version which also is stronger (not sure this is that important 300kg vs 400kg+ load).

Is there any real benefit to these?

The fixed legs are strong enough for any scope that the head can use. I guess they introduced the folding one for people who transport everything, but I never had any issues doing this with the fixed legs either. Personally I'd save the money and get the fixed legs.
