Synscan and the time.

It turns out I have been using +1.00 hour in time zone setting for about the past year. What effect will this have on the synscan skymap and what should I do to resolve it.

i found i had to do that to get mine to work.

All you should do is put it into daylight saving and set the time to 00:00, no need to set it to +1:00, but when i was doing that my alignment was way out, i then set it to +1:00 to see what would happen and it worked a treat, still do now.

When the clocks go back try using it set to 00:00 and daylight saving to "no", see what that gives you.

As for the skymap it builds it should not be a problem, as i believe it builds a new map each time you use it.

I had +1.00 hour and Yes to daylight savings. It seemed to work ok for me too.

Does anyone elso do this I wonder?
