RJ45 Extension Cable for Synscan

Hi,

I have Synscan on my EQ5 mount. I find that the spiral cable on the hand control is too short and I want to extend it. I have found a RJ45 extension lead on ebay (see link below) will this cable be ok to use as an extension? Thanks.

I too am very interested in this solution - so I have ordered it and will let you know. I went for the 5m one and at just over £2.50 I think it is worth the gamble

Mine has been working just fine, no more pulling the handset from your hand and hitting the ground. best few quid i have ever spent.
