Laser Collimators

Can anyone give me a recommendation of a Laser Collimator for a 8i SCT

For an SCT I would use a star rather than a laser. But thats personal preference. I did use a meade laser collimator for my lightbridge dob and it worked well (dont forget that the laser collimator needs to be collimated itself!)

Yep, I agree with Gordon.

Laser collimators are actually a waste of time and money, as as SCTs go.

It "might" get you somewhere near, if you are lucky, but that's all it will do.

For an SCT, there is no substitute for using a star (or artificial star if you can get the distance), and the Mk1 'eyeball'.
