M15 - 66 APO vs 150 Mak comparison.

I had the chance to try out a few things the other night.

First up is the SW Equinox 66 with a SXVF-M8C. 400mm @ f/6

Approx 3hrs in 60s + 150s subs.

And then a mono version using the SX Lodestar and Mak150 - 1800mm @ f/12

Approx 1hr in 60s + 150s subs.

Very much an art vs science perspective I think.

Interesting comparison!

I like them both! But I think my favourite would be the wide field with the Equinox, just my taste I think.

You do certainly have more core resolution with the Mak though.
