Thanks for the numerous warm welcomes! What a friendly bunch.

The scope arrived today, and has already been assembled. It's now sitting in the summer house, waiting in anticipation for a gap in the clouds (and a stop to all the blustery wind!).

I have a feeling I may well be waiting a few nights, so a lot of reading is in order. Thanks for the recommendation of Turn Left - I have that, and it's a corker :-)
