Just before you pass it by your better half, don't forget to add on the vat, duty and cost of the courier collecting that dosh on your behalf :-)...

But the 500x magnification oh please... but it does look nice!!

Yeah, i think the 500X is a tad optimistic If i were to pass this by the wife she would probably pass me by with a suitcase in tow!

It's a lot of dosh but I've read a few reviews on these from experienced observers that conclude that these are among the finest scopes made. As the seller says there is a very long waiting list to get one (thats not hype)

Under the best conditions I can believe that 500x would be usable with something of that optical quality. Probably not under UK skies though
