First attempt at imaging (Jupiter)

Decided to have my first go at using my SPC900 and Jupiter seemed the obvious choice. I had great difficuly focusing wiith the rack and pinion focuser on my N150 refractor. I origionally wanted to get Jupiter and 4 moons in the image but I didn't have enough focuser travel without a 2x barlow. This is also my first attempt with Registax and I have no idea if I've done it correctly or not. An un-inspiring photo, but I'm glad I did actually managed to get something that resembles Jupiter

Thats not a bad first image well done , keep at it you will only improve from here but it can take time as there is a lot of trial and error at the beginning .
