Can you focus on it with a 5 or 6 mm eyepiece? Which is the equivalent focal length as the webcam

didnt try that 5mm idea .

Just thought of another possibility, my web cam needs more in focus than my eyepieces, I have to use a different focuser adapter. If you're winding your focuser in and the image on screen looks like it's getting sharper but doesn't quite get there, it could be the same problem.
