Jupiter and moons

Taken in the small hours of 23rd. Abandoned using the barlow because the seeing wasn't really up to it and it shows in the captures. I don't think this one is *that* great, but it's nice that it shows Io, Callisto and Europa. I didn't notice them at the time.

127 Mak on an EQ3-2, SPC900 + IR filter, stacked around 1200 of 2400 frames in Registax 6.

Not entirely sure why Jupiter has a bit ground off the bottom left edge. Probably a processing artefact.

Nice one James. Your probably right its a processing artefact but did you check the frames that one image has slipped off the edge, dont mean to state the obvious.

I'll have another look at it later to see if I can find out why.

it's so long since I had the opportunity to get out and do some imaging that I'd almost forgotten how to use Registax.
