I saw the 'basics'

M31 - didn't expect it to be THAT big filling the field of view

M45 - Pleiades really pretty

M42 - Visible with naked eye, the bins showed much details

Double Cluster

Jupiter - Moons are visible as pin pricks

And of course the Milky Way with naked eye.

Pretty amazing when you get somewhere dark isn't it.:p

Last year i kept thinking the milky way was clouds rolling over it was that bright.

...me not being the most luminous star in the galaxy so to speak.;)

Yes it was my first. I both enjoy and not so enjoy because I came in late on Friday and broke the rule so I banished myself and too afraid to meet people...

am sure everyone will understand and doubt they'll care now due to the outstanding weather most of us are having at the moment. go and have a chat and a look through one or two scopes, I know I would :p
