To wear glasses or not?

I have had astigmatism for many years, so needed to wear my glasses when observing as a telescope cannot correct this. I bit the bullet and had laser surgery a few months ago. It has completely transformed my observing experience.

The Kelling weekend has really bought it all home to me how fantastic my surgery has been for me. I saw detail in Jupiter I haven't seen with my own eyes for over 20 years. Absolutely Marvellous!
