Humble post - Jupiter reprocessed

Well here we go. The best so far, from 1500 frames taken the other evening.

Reprocessed to get rid of some of the haze and CA. Still room for improvement I feel, having looked at some of the photos here.

Great attempt can make out some good detail nice to get the GRS aswell stick at it .

Just adjusted the wavelets and played with the levels in PS. I'm a beginner to all this processing, but it doesn't seem to be much data in the stacked images to pull out

Either focusing was a little out or you've caught some planetary rotation as it seems a bit blurred. Not sure what you've used to process the image, but I use Registax 5.1, simply place a box around the planet, let it do all the aligning and stacking using the default settings and then on the wavlet tab slide up the top two or three sliders watching the detail come out of the image

The seeing was dreadful and the polar alignment was only for using a compass, so drifting was a major problem. Next clear night, I hope to do better.
