Tonight, in the North-East of Scotland, both the moon, and Sirius are clearly visible!

It is quite cloudy, but they don't cover it for long before moving away again.

So, if anybody is in Scotland, get out there! It looks great!

Nice to hear you are getting some decent skies, they've been few and far between in the far North West of England here.

You must have a good Southern horizon up there for viewing Sirius.

Are you sure it was Sirius, and not the moon and Jupiter, they are quite close together.

I can see it only between the houses behind me for brief periods.

I like viewing the Open Cluster M41, about 4 degrees below Sirius, but it has to be good seeing.

was nice and clear outside but quite gloomy seeing up NW way, moon was well bright also but need to jump at the chance or it will be another couple of weeks no doubt before the next opportunity

getting chilly at nights now too brr
