connecting a dslr to sn 10

hi folks how do you connect a dslr to a meade sn10 ? i have tried the t adaptor and extension tube but i ncannot get the camera to focus ? cheers from paul .

Paul, when you try focusing does focus seem better when racked in or out. With an eyepiece where does that focus, because somewhere around the joint between the shiny eyepiece barrel and the part that holds the lens is a field stop that's your focal plane and you need to get the camera chip in that position. Guessing but I expect you don't need an extn tube just the T adapter - work in daylight its easier

im guessing i dont need the t adaptor as well but it does not connect on to the tube on focuser ?
