Seth MacFarlane(Family Guy and American dad creator) is to do a sequel of Carl Sagans Cosmos.A strange choice,he does however have one of those good T.V voices that seem suited to documentary type shows.

I rewatched all of Cosmos (with the extended updates) last month and it was still excellent and as relevant today as it was then. Such a shame Carl Sagan is no longer with us as I think he'd have been quite amazed at some of the leaps we have made, especially in digital technology and how that has benefited astronomy.

It did make me giggle a few times though as, after watching the "Wonders of.." series, you can see where Brian Cox got a lot of his mannerisms from.

Rats!!!! Not a Tyson fan.

Not seen much of Tyson but from what I have, I think he's pretty good. He's certainly got a great sense of humour. This is so spot on.
