NGC5146 (Coccon) and M52/Bubble from Die, France

After struggling with my guiding for 2 frustrating nights, it turned out that the issue was too much power consumption at the campsite, so I decided to only use the TEC for shooting darks the next day. With the TEC out of the equation, guiding was as smooth as at home. Precautiously I had already left out the TEC the first night when shooting the Iris and back then everything was also OK.

OK back to this session;

Thanks Kevin,

I have made a big leap starting this spring in which my imaging has improved greatly. It seems my current workflow in both acquiring the data and the processing of it is on the right path. I'm quite surprised on how well the starcolors come out, even though I'm shooting most of my shots at ISO1600. Must be doing it the right way.

Regards Tim
